Saskatchewan! Building strong communities, families and individuals.
Budget 2008-09 - Ready for Growth
Did You Know?

The government provided $3 million in the 2008-09 budget to help individuals who provide in-home care to the elderly and dependent relatives. This money will be used to double the Caregiver Tax Credit, the Infirm Dependent Tax Credit, the Disability Supplement Tax Credit and the Disability Amount for Self Tax Credit.

The Government of Saskatchewan is working in partnership with communities, families and individuals to foster family relationships free of violence and abuse. Community groups, organizations and government are working at the community level as well as at the provincial level to address systemic issues that contribute to family violence. For more information, contact STOPS (Saskatchewan Towards Offering Partnership Solutions to Violence) in Regina at (306)787-3835 or the web site: www.stopstoviolence.com.
